An ecologist is a scientist with expertise in the study of relationships within (and between) ecosystems.
Smaller ecosystems are comprised of hundreds of thousands of organisms, while the wider ecosystem is estimated at between five and fifty million organisms. These organisms, most of which are micoorganisms, play symbiotic or amensalistic roles in calibrating ecological systems.
Ecologists focus on the interactions between such organisms, with the goal of assessing and where necessary improving the ecological system in question.
This web site is under construction, but if you require an ecologist please be sure to contact Biosis or WSP.
